19 November 2020 – The Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Canberra in coordination with the Fairwork Ombudsman wishes to inform all Overseas Filipino Workers and Overseas Filipinos in Australia that a Webinar for Migrant Workers will be conducted on 03 December 2020 from 2pm-3pm AEDT.

The webinar will cover topics including:

• the role of the FWO
• basic workplace rights and entitlements, such as minimum wages and the difference between full-time, part-time and casual employment
• common workplace issues, including unpaid work and the gig economy; and
• the FWO’s free tools and resources
